We currently have volunteers circulating petitions in the community. They are also available for signing at our main station located at 2900 Airport Road, next to Memorial Gardens Cemetery during business hours Monday - Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Unless the staff is out on an emergency call.

Must be at least 18 years of age and have a little time to attend training and respond on emergency calls and help out a fellow neighbor. Also, applicants will be subject to background checks and drug screening. All basic training can be obtained locally and it is a great way to get involved in community service and giving back to the area that you live in.

Responsible for the upkeep of six stations and fifteen apparatus owned & operated by the 70 West FPA all while being one of the busiest volunteer fire departments in the county we have an outstanding staff & group of volunteers who take time out of their busy schedules to serve.
With strong leadership and the many exciting changes and advancements this past year we are preparing to take our services to the next level reaching new heights for our community.
It pays to be a member! It can be said that it is a myth that the fire department will not respond to your property if you are not a member. 70 West will respond to any emergency occurring within the district whether you are a member or non-member. 70 West subscribers receive the services free of charge.
